About Autumn
I am a woman living with, what I like to call, the Cluster F@ck Syndrome(CFS). After many years of searching for answers, and multiple misdiagnosises along the way, I currently hold the following diagnoses: hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), POTS, MCAS, IBD, PCOS, Endometriosis, chronic migraines, ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, CCI, Autism Spectrum disorder, ADHD, mild cognitive impairment, RLS/formication-not to be confused with fornication- insomnia, sleep apnea, etc... you get the picture. I am a proud Spoonie, working as a Software Developer and with compounding years of knowledge and experience from both myself and my dearly-departed mother (my assumed EDS genetic link), I thought I'd share this knowledge, advice and tips and tricks from my current CFS and past experiences during the misdiagnosis phase. This culminates into what my sweet husband decided to call, A Spoonie Survivor Guide. The first and most important rule for Spoonie Survival, much like in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Always Carry A Spoon!
